Is there an application fee? No, anyone is eligible to enroll. Your enrollment is your application. What are the benefits of completing all University Departments? Completing all courses within each department will provide the educational and theological foundation necessary for full or part-time ministry in deliverance and exorcism. Is Bob Larson University accredited? ISE is accredited by the Spiritual Freedom Churches, Inc. International, a non-denominational church organization with scores of affiliated and associated churches worldwide. How closely am I monitored? These courses are self-guided so you can proceed at your own pace to complete the courses as quickly as you’d like. Questions about course materials can be answered by calling our international office at 303-980-1511. If I am already in active deliverance ministry, can I skip or waive some courses? We appreciate the fact that you may already have experience in this area of ministry, but in order to ensure that everyone we certify operates in the same biblical and methodological paradigm, we require that all courses at all levels be pursued. How long will my training last? That is up to you. You can progress as rapidly or slowly as you wish. What languages are available for training? Currently, we only have training in English but will expand to other languages as time and resources allow. The School of Exorcism is available in Russian. Will I be tested periodically? Yes. Each lesson has a quiz which must be passed before you can proceed to the next lesson. If you don’t pass you can take the quiz an additional time and be retested without further cost. What happens when a course is completed? At the end of your course study for each department, you will receive by email a pdf certificate. Becoming certified opens the opportunity to attending the yearly ISE Convention, where you will meet others involved in deliverance ministry. BLU also opens the opportunity to be able to start your own DWJD deliverance team in your area. How much time will my course work require? You may proceed at your own pace and complete your studies in whatever time frame is convenient to you. Is Dr. Bob Larson the only instructor or evaluator? All courses are personally prepared by Dr. Larson though some evaluations and test materials may be handled by other instructors. All certification requires the personal approval of Dr. Larson. At the seminary level there will be guest teachers with appropriate theological and academic credentials. Are scholarships available? At the present time there are no scholarships available; however, a program will eventually be introduced to assist students on a need basis, though no timetable for such a program has been yet established. Is there a discount for pastors or those in full time Christian service? Church group discounts? We anticipate that those involved in ministry will be our primary students; therefore we will provide the senior pastor and head pastoral staff members a 10% discount to enroll. If desired, special arrangements can be made for churches who want to train a group of qualified individuals/lay leaders. You must contact our office to arrange for group enrollment. Are there discounts for family members? Family members may review the course videos and study guides but there is only certification for one enrollee. Are there discounts for military members? Can you pay for enrollment using GI Bills? We offer active and non-active duty military members a 10% discount off enrollment. We do not accept GI Bills to pay for enrollment. Are there additional costs for attendance at Dr. Larson’s seminars and overseas missions? There is no registration fee to attend Dr. Bob Larson’s seminars. If you plan to travel to attend a seminar in the United States or participate in an overseas missions, you will have to coordinate and cover all your travel arrangements. What are the age requirements? Anyone 18-years-old or older is eligible. Minors require legal, parental permission and adult supervision. Who may take these courses? The courses are open to everyone of legal age; however, certification requires adherence to our Statement of Faith and Doctrine (based on historic, orthodox Christian creeds) and our Statement of Ethics and Practices. Will my certification transfer to other Christian schools and colleges? That will depend on a case-by-case basis. Attempts will be made to encourage other Christian institutions to recognize the importance of our certification. If I quit, what happens to my tuition? All tuition is non-refundable, except in the case of confirmed health emergencies which are disabling. Under what conditions would I be expelled from the University? Anyone violating the signed Enrollment Agreement’s conditions is subject to possible expulsion without refund. Such actions would be at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors of Spiritual Freedom Church Inc., International. What Bible will be used in the course studies? In most cases, the New King James Version will be used for scriptural references, though the KJV and the NIV are also acceptable in most cases. Do I need to purchase additional resources to complete the courses? No. All the material is included in the course. However, purchasing additional resources created by Dr. Larson will expand your knowledge in the area of deliverance. Information found in his stand alone resources are not duplicated in his online course. Do I need to be proficient in using a computer to take courses? A working knowledge of computers and smart mobile devices would be helpful, since University information and courses will be accessible on such devices. What if I am a new Christian? BLU is an intensive way to grow in your understanding of Scripture. Studying the life of Christ and how He ministered is an excellent way to gain basic biblical knowledge of the mission of Jesus. Our technical support staff will contact you as soon as they are able. We hope to assist you within 48 hours of your initial contact. Our offices are closed on weekends. Are these programs tax-deductible? Enrollment in these courses are not tax-deductible. Can I gift courses to someone? You may gift courses to a friend or loved one. If you would like assistance with this, please contact our staff members during office hours. I’m not proficient on a computer or don’t have access to a computer or smartphone. Can I do this as a correspondence course? Currently, we don’t have these courses set up as correspondence course. In future, should we decide to do so, we would post this information on our website with details. Does completing this course help me towards ordination? Yes. Completion of all Departments is a prerequisite for ordination. If interested in ordination, please contact our office for additional information. After completing BLU, can I call myself an exorcist and start my own ministry? Can I use Spiritual Freedom Church’s name? No. Completing these courses provides you theological and methodological framework. If you would like to start your own ministry and affiliate with The Spiritual Freedom Church, we encourage you to become a member of DWJD, Do What Jesus Did. This is a group of highly trained individuals who meet frequently for ministry support and continued ministry training. You will be able to work alongside of an existing team for mentoring. We also provide a member’s manual with information that will help you set up your own team. Contact our office for more information. I’m from Canada. Do I pay the USD amount with exchange rate applied, or do I pay in CAD only? Enrolling in any of the courses would require payment in USD. What are the acceptable forms of payment for international students? We accept Visa/MasterCard credit or debit cards. If you would like to mail payment, please send an international cashier’s check in USD to our mailing address.
